Source of Funds

The Fresno County SELPA allocates a portion of the Base Grant Funding for the Legal cost pool. The pool is available for qualifying Member LEA cost claims. This source is provided under the Fresno County SELPA's Funding Allocation Plan. 

Funding Allocation

The Fresno County SELPA allocates the Claim Reimbursement to Member LEAs for qualifying cost claims that are approved by the SELPA Executive Committee.  

Accounting

  • Revenue is transferred using 0100-65000-0-5001-0000-879202.
  • Expenditures for Legal Costs can be coded to 0100-65000-0-5xxx-xxxx-xxxxxx.

Cash is disbursed upon the approval of claims received.  

Use of Funds

Funds are to be used for qualifying legal costs.
