Member School Districts

Our Member School Districts directly provide special education and related services to most of their students with disabilities as provided by the students' Individualized Education Program (IEP) Team. These students are enrolled in the school district, and are provided services required in the IEP such as Speech & Language Pathology, Resource Specialists, etc.

Each member school district's website is provided here:

Did you know...

Every school district in California must belong to a SELPA. There are nearly 140 SELPAs in total. In Fresno County, there are four:

  1. The Fresno County SELPA, a multi-district SELPA with Member LEAs listed here,
  2. The Fresno Unified SELPA, a single district SELPA due to its size and scope,
  3. The Clovis Unified SELPA, another single district SELA, and
  4. The Fresno County Charter SELPA, a unique SELPA designed for charter schools in certain counties in the State.

Also, every Charter School must be either (1) a school of the district, or (2) an independent member of a SELPA. You can learn more about the Charter School options here
