Funding Allocation Sheets

The Funding Allocation Sheets are designed to provide a transparent view of the allocations from each of the various funding sources. The sheets use Microsoft excel and provide the information both on a SELPA level and by each Member School District. Additionally, the sheets include the SACS revenue account codes used for the transfers.

The Funding Allocation Sheets are provided to Member School Districts in the following manner:

  • They are emailed to all SELPA fiscal contacts listed here: District SELPA Fiscal Contacts for 2024-25
  • They are available on the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools portal here.
  • They are published each quarter to provide regular updates to both State and Federal funds.
  • A video illustrating the Funding Allocation Sheets is available here.

Release Dates

The Funding Allocation Sheets are updated and reported via email to Member School Districts seven times each year:

The excel spreadsheet includes several tabs. The first tab is titled "LEA" and provides information by Member School District. Members can select their school district at the top left section of the page.

Each SELPA in California, as required by Education Code Section 56836.01(b), is responsible for the allocation of state and federal funds allocated to the Member LEAs for the provision of special education and related services.

The Fresno County SELPA created Funding Allocation Sheets to provide this information using a standardized format and a regular schedule.
