Source of Funds

In 1986, the federal government authorized grants to states to plan and implement a comprehensive, community-based interagency system of early intervention services (Part C) for infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families. Only LEAs serving infants and toddlers with solely low incidence disabilities are eligible to apply.

Funding Allocation

The Fresno County SELPA allocates Federal Part C Infant Funding to both Regionalized Services and County Operated Programs. There is no allocation to the School Districts.
