SEMA and SEMB Reports

Written and Video instructions for these reports are provided here: 

Timeline

  • End of June - MOE Data Sheet Provided
  • July - Optional MOE Tool Review Offered 
    • If "Not Meeting MOE" is projected, LEA can make general ledger changes and/or apply exempt reductions, if possible
    • If "Meeting MOE" is projected, the LEA can consider making additional changes for MOE efficiencies, if possible
  • July & August - LEA completes Report SEMA and SEMB when appropriate in SACS Web
  • September 15th - SACS Web (that includes Reports SEMA and SEMB) due to County Office of Education
    • The SELPA will review the LEA's SEMA and SEMB in SACS Web
    • The SELPA will transfer the information onto the SELPA's Subsequent Year Tracking (SYT) Worksheet
    • The SELPA will provide a copy of the SYT to each LEA for Program and Finance signatures
  • November 15th - the SELPA will provide a hardcopy of the SYT, SEMA, & SEMB reports, along with any supporting documentation, to CDE's Special Education Division
  • After November 15th - the SELPA will report MOE status to the Superintendents' Governance Council (SGC)
