Exceptional Parents Unlimited (EPU) was founded to help struggling parents who have children with special needs, become connected to comprehensive, family-centered services.

Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC) helps individuals with developmental disabilities, and children at risk, to reach their goals. CVRC coordinates resources and collaborates with other agencies to develop the best services for families.

Children’s Services Network provides the necessary support, education and connections with community resources to advocate for high quality care for all children.

Resources for Independence Central Valley (RICV) empowers independence and improves lives by providing services and programs to residents of Fresno County. RICV provides a foundation of core consumer-controlled, community-based cross-disability and person-focused programs and assistance. 

The Deaf & Hard of Hearing Service Center (DHHSC) is committed to growing as an agency to better serve the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community of Central California. DHHSC offers the following services: Advocacy Services, Communication Services (including interpreting), Independent Living Skills Instruction, Counseling, Job Development & Placement Assistance, Community Education, and Information & Referral.

The Best Buddies team works to enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by connecting them to social outlets, employment opportunities, leadership development, and inclusive living. 

Valley Center for the Blind (VCB) is dedicated to providing people experiencing vision loss with a safe and engaging place to find support, community, and high-level training programs.

The Arc offers individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability the opportunity to succeed in a supportive environment. The services available from The Arc offer individuals the necessary training to acquire the skills needed to fully become an integral part of their community. 

Located in the Central Sierra Nevada, the Central California Adaptive Sports Center (CCASC) brings outdoor adventure programs to persons with disabilities.

All 4 Youth is a partnership program between The Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health and the Office of the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools for children and youth ages 0-22 years old experiencing difficulties that affect them at school. 

Wayfinders at Fresno State is a 2-year non-degree independent living certificate program for young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

The California Autism Center and Learning Group brings client-focused center-based ABA services to the Central Valley. The center focuses on improving lives and building careers while developing the most advanced network of center-based treatment facilities for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. 

United Cerebral Palsy of Central California (UCPCC) provides programs for children and adults, along with their families, with a broad range of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. The UCPCC’s mission is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.

Success Together is a non-profit educational organizational service provider built by parents, for parents. Through partnerships with local schools, they offer practical classes and a supportive community for families with children from preschool through 12th grade.

The California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) works in partnership with consumers and other share holders to provide services and advocacy resulting in employment, independent living, and equality for individuals with disabilities. Independent living services may include peer support, skill development, systems advocacy, referrals, assistive technology services, transition services, housing assistance, and personal assistance services. 

Easterseals of Central California provide Autism and Behavior Services to help meet the increasing needs of children with Autism. Their behavior services offer interventions from the earliest opportunity possible (at the onset of a diagnosis) from childhood to adolescence and into young adulthood. Easterseals also provides services to seniors, veterans, and caregivers.

Break the Barriers facilitates inclusive programs through ability awareness, outreach and education, integrated sports, health and fitness, and performing arts. Break the Barriers is dedicated to accelerating awareness, understanding, acceptance, and inclusion education for all people with various disabilities. 

Help Me Grow Fresno County can answer your questions about your child's development from birth to age five, free of charge. Help me Grow Fresno County supports children in the following areas: Linking and providing care coordination to families to find appropriate services, increasing public awareness of the importance of early identification and intervention, assisting the capacity of health care and early education providers to identify and address children's development, and providing continuous quality improvement of its services.

Spirit Horse Connections is a Non-Profit in California's Central Valley, with a drive to impact individuals with various abilities and needs. Spirit Horse Connections provides Equine Therapy through various riding programs.

The Heart of the Horse Therapy Ranch offers hands-on experience with horses to exceptional people of the Central San Joaquin Valley who have a severe physical disability. The Ranch also works with the nation's heroes who have suffered a service related injury or severe PTSD.

Able Advocates offer support to local families that include: support groups, diagnosis matching, community events, and informative guidance literature. Additionally, Able Advocates has a no cost equipment closet for families in need with a large assortment of items for children ages 6 months and up.

Behavioral Intervention 4 Autism (BIA) provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and adolescents ages 18 months to 18 years of age. Services are offered via a hybrid program, combining clinic based, in home and community settings. BIA also offers social skills groups and parent training workshops.

The City of Fresno Disability Advisory Commission (DAC) was created to improve the quality of life for the disabled community in our area. The commission increases the public’s awareness of the strengths and successes of people with disabilities by actively participating in community activities and events which incorporate diverse perspectives. The DAC will work to ensure all citizens with disabilities have equal access to resources and services that provide opportunities for education and employability.

Speech-Language Pathologists at Valley Children's provide expert diagnosis and treatment of pediatric speech, language, feeding, and swallowing disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Children who have speech, language or swallowing disorders can be referred to Speech-Language Pathology for an evaluation to establish the presence, type, and severity of disorder, and to determine appropriate course of care. 

The Talk Team is composed of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Analysts who offer specialized behavior-based intervention in all areas of development for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. Other services include speech therapy and occupational therapy that incorporates movement, physical play, multi-sensory input, and hands-on activities into speech and language development. 

Empower Speech Therapy & Life Skills Center offers comprehensive speech-language evaluations and treatment, as well as occupational therapy services. Empower embraces a relationship-based model, celebrates diversity, and utilizes individualized and evidence-based practices during speech-language therapy. 

Down Syndrome Association of Central California’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for all people whose lives are touched by Down syndrome. The goal of the organization is to provide programs and events that promote greater awareness of the developmental, educational, and social potential of people with Down syndrome. These programs benefit people with Down syndrome, their family members, and the social science, education, and medical professionals who support them. 

The Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic at California State University, Fresno is dedicated to serving people in the community. Evaluations and treatment are available for persons of all ages with speech, language and hearing impairments. The clinic functions as a vital part of the Department of Communicative Sciences and Deaf Studies by providing opportunities for advanced clinical training and research for graduate students.

Mobility Works offers accessible wheelchair vehicles in Fresno as well as options for scooter lifts on minivans. Services include wheelchair van rentals, wheelchair van repair & maintenance, financing, grants and assistance, and ProtectionWorks Roadside Assistance.
