IDEA/ARP Preschool Funding
Source of Funds
The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021 appropriated one-time federal funds for IDEA Part, Section 619. The grant period is from July 1, 2021 through September 30, 2023.
Funding Allocation
The Fresno County SELPA allocates IDEA - Preschool funds using the following categories:
- IDEA/ARP - Preschool Grant. It is allocated by the Member's prior year special education preschool pupil count
- IDEA/ARP - Preschool CEIS. It is allocated based on a percentage factor, if applicable.

Use of Funds
- IDEA/ARP - Preschool
- Funds are to be used specifically for special education and related services for preschool children ages three, four, and five.
